Welcome to Anam Studios. I am a "purveyor of ephemera and bagatelle". Trifles. Little things. A little of this, a little of that. Here today, gone tomorrow. In other words, a fancy way of saying 'a jack of all trades'.

While taking a bit of a sabbatical from the rat race, I decided to do the things I already did for fun, for myself, for friends... only now, do it for money. Well, hopefully for money!

I am an artist. When I started kindergarten, I was confused at first when I saw the other kids drawing stick figures. Was that how they saw other people? I had not realized, until that point, at the ripe old age of four, that being able to draw was something special. It was then I decided I was an artist. I paint. One day I decided if I could paint a picture, it would be easy to paint a wall (and I couldn't afford to hire a painter). So now I paint walls too. In all sorts of ways. And design rooms around them. Designing websites was a natural transition when I got my first computer (that is why every page within this site is different, no one theme, so you can see all sorts of examples). I sculpt. And that turned to doll making at a time I was short of space. Many of my talents were only discovered when need forced the discovery (knitting, sewing, cooking...).
